REQUIREMENT

Swimming safety and athletic resilience are prerequisites for participation. The participant expressly declares that there are no medical concerns about participating in a water sports course.

FAIRNESS

We guarantee friendly, professional and fair treatment. We also expect fairness from our participants, should there be a problem. We are water sports enthusiasts and not sellers!

PAYMENT

The total amount is to be paid before the start of the course by bank transfer or on site.

CANCELLATION

If a course is canceled up to 2 days before the start of the course, we will refund 100% of the course price, if less than 2 days we will refund 50%. Courses that are canceled less than 24 hours before the start time are not eligible for a refund.

In the event of cancellation of the accommodation booked through us, the following applies:

100% refund of the total amount up to 60 days before departure

70% refund of the total amount up to 30 days before departure

50% refund of the total amount up to 10 days before departure

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund 9 days or less before departure and we have to withhold the full amount.

LIABILITY

SURFERS ISLAND is responsible for the correct preparation and execution of the water sports courses and for the services we offer.

SURFERS ISLAND assumes no liability for damage caused by misconduct or lack of experience of the participant (s).

Participation is at your own risk.

WEATHER

If the course has to be terminated prematurely due to weather influences or other circumstances (injury), we will only charge you for the time trained! When kiting, we charge a small expense allowance of 15.00 per person, provided that we are already in the starting blocks for our course at the spot and the wind is absent. We apologize for any inconvenience.

DUTY OF CARE

The participant must handle the equipment with care and, if necessary, accept responsibility for loss or damage. In the event of loss or damage to the material, we will charge the participant responsible for the
damage for the repair costs or the value of the material. We do not charge anything for damage caused by normal wear and tear!

EXCLUSION

The instructions of the teaching staff must be followed. In the case of irresponsible behavior that endangers the health of the participants or damages the reputation of SURFERS ISLAND, the participant can be excluded from the course.

In this case the course fee will not be refunded!
